Wardell Stephen "Steph" Curry II

An American professional basketball player that plays for the Golden State Warriors which is Located in Oakland,California USA.Stephen Curry plays in the NBA.He is usually called "Steph" by fans,reporters,player,etc.Stephen Curry was born March 14,1988 in the Akron City Hospital,the same hospital with Lebron James but was born 4 years later.Steph's father Wardell Stephen "Dell" Curry was a former NBA player playing for a couple teams like the Utah Jazz,Toronto Raptors,Cleveland Cavaliers,Milwaukee Bucks,and The Charlotte Hornets.Steph's siblings were Seth Curry a NBA player and Sydel Curry.Steph wasn't the greatest shooter that we all knew today,back in High school he was 5'6 and 125lbs.Steph didn't even shoot above his head,he shoots from his waist.That summer Dell teach Steph to shoot from his head and the mechanics of the shot before his junior year. Seth said"Steph worked day and night on his shot".In his Junior year, Steph has mastered his shot and showed off his new height at 5'9.He averaged just under 20PPG(Points per game) and still didn't get a major Division 1(D1) college offer but only one major college recruited Steph that was his father's College,Virgina Tech.There's a open roster for people who try out and if he does good he would make a spot in the team but there's no guarantee.That summer Steph worked hard and even growing to 6'.Finally,Steph got a offer from Davidson college.Steph in his freshman year will have some games but became a household name in his Sophomore year leading a no name D1 school into the Final 8 in the NCWA tournament.

Steph declared for the draft.Stephen Curry was drafted in the 1st round with the 7 pick by the Golden State in the 2009 draft.Steph was All-Rookie 1st team in 2009.Steph was known in his early career as a pure shooter and a Injury prone player.Being a injury prone player Steph can't get to his full potential but in these few years Steph has defined all odds and Became a All-star in 2014 and next year the 2015 MVP and a Championship.Also took the 2016 MVP and being the 1st Unanimous MVP in league history,also being the scoring and steals leader and setting the regular season record with 73-9 playing for the Golden state Warriors.Now Steph is a back-to-back NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors.
